I have finally been to Alaska. Harold & I flew to Anchorage on Monday, Aug. 25th and spent the week sightseeing. We rented a car and drove to Seward on Tuesday. On the way we stopped at Portage Glacier.

On Wednesday we took a ride on a sightseeing boat called the Orca Song. Our captain was the real Captain Hook!
We saw lots of Orcas.
This one dove right under the boat!
We visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation center.
This was my pet moose.
We saw these guys swimming bear naked!
We drove to Talkeetna to see Mt. McKinley. We wanted to take an airplane ride around the mountain but it was shrouded in clouds.
So we drove back to Achorage and flew home.
